Rules and Conditions:
The rule of the singles of squash of WSF will apply. Points will be added or removed from all participants at the beginning of each game according to NSA’s Handicap formula and their final ranking in the Nicosia Squash League 2018-19.

Eligibility:
The “NSA Handicap Squash Tournament 2019-2020” is open to all players either holding a valid health certificate or submitting a disclaimer for their participation.
Prizes:
Trophies will be given to the winner and runner-up of the main category.
Entries:
Deadline for submitting entries is Friday 13th September 2019. All entries should be sent by email to Nicosia Squash Association.
Late entries or entries received without payment will not be accepted. The Nicosia Squash Association accepts no responsibility for non-arrival of entries.
Entry fees:
The entry fee is set to €30 for Seniors unless they hold NSA’s “All Inclusive” membership package which includes this event.
Participation fee for Juniors is set to €20.
Once an entry has been submitted the fees must be paid irrespective of whether the player has missed any of his/her matches.
Rankings:
The rankings will be decided by the NSA tournament committee.
Seeding:
The seeding of all players will be automatically set by “Tournament Software” on Sunday, September 15th, 2019 at 8 p.m.
Draw:
The MONRAD type of draw will be used where all players will compete for their final classification.
Insurance:
Players enter the Tournament at their own risk. The Nicosia Squash Association, the Cyprus Squash Association, and the sponsors DO NOT accept any responsibility for either injury arising from participation, or loss of property in this event.
According to rules, a Health Certificate will not be required for participation to the “Handicap Tournament 2019-20”, but instead a disclaimer will be requested!
The NSA Committee strongly advises all its members to hold a valid Health Certificate!
Program:
All matches for the senior events will be held from 6:00 -9:00 p.m. on weekdays and from 9:00 am to 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays.
Please note that all players should be able to attend during the above-mentioned hours, because NO changes of the timetable will be allowed.
All players are requested to turn up fifteen minutes before their scheduled match time. Players who are more than 10 minutes late will be disqualified from the tournament. The finals for all the events will be held on Saturday afternoon.
Refereeing:
Every match winner is obliged by the rules of the tournament to referee one match following their own. Failure to comply may result to disqualification of the player.
Penalties:
If a player has entered for the tournament does not show up or does not play all the matches for final places, will be banned from participating in the next tournament. In case NSA receives a doctor’s certificate within 2 days after the final day of the tournament, the case will be re-examined.
