Covid-19 positive case - Disinfection of courts

We have been informed by a member of our Association that, following his league match played at our courts, he was tested positive in Covid-19.

Following the Health Protocol of the Cyprus Squash Association, his close contacts were immediately informed, and actions have been taken to disinfect both courts, the surrounding areas and changing rooms. Until then, the courts will remain closed, all activities are suspended, and all court bookings are cancelled until further notice.

We wish our member a quick recovery.

Taking this opportunity, we would like to stress out the importance of wearing a mask upon arrival and departure to and from the courts, and the compliance with the rules of personal hygiene, in combination with the announced instructions by the Authorities which helps to a better protection from the pandemic. Also, regular inspection strengthens our protective shield, but also eliminates the chances of transmission of the virus.
